ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to remove his name in the history sheet Register in H.S.No.5/2020, maintained by the third respondent, by considering his representation dated 16.08.2025. 2.The gist of the representation made by the petitioner is to close the history sheet opened against him.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in terms of the guidelines laid down by this Court in Thirumagan and another vs. The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District and others, reported in 2020-2-L.W. (Crl.) 266, within a period four weeks.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2025 and pass appropriate 2/4

orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.
