PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to survey the land in Survey No.270/27A and Patta No.1372 situated in Natchiyarkoil Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District based upon the application of the petitioner in Petition No.2025/N123/21/008936 dated 14.07.2025 within the time stipulated by this court.

ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 16.07.2007 and patta No.1372, the petitioner applied for survey of the land in survey No.270/27A. On the ground that such application was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that action would be taken on the petitioner's application within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record the sale deed and patta in his favour. Therefore, the petitioner has made out a case for consideration of the application for survey.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to act on the petitioner's application for survey within twelve 2/4
