Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is an exserviceman. He belongs to Scheduled Castes community. He seeks assignment patta for the petition mentioned land. The petitioner's counsel refers to the provisions of scheme in this regard.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass order on merits and in accodance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The first respondent shall put all the interested 2/4
