When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the trial had already been completed in this case and that the petitioner was convicted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and hence, nothing survives in this petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
