ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the first respondent to file final report within a time frame limit as fixed by this Court for the offences under Sections 448, 294(b), 323 and 420 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act 2002 in Crime No.292 of 2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has filed the final report and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.276 of 2022 and the same is pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), nothing survives for further adjudication and hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed 2/4

as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.
