ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed for directing the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Thanjavur to number the CC.Sr.No.56 of 2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the complaint has been returned stating that complainant is not a Consumer as no consideration has been paid. The same was represented by the petitioner stating that even against the revenue authorities, a complaint before the Consumer Forum is maintainable. To support his contention, he also produced the order passed in C.C.No.38 of 2014, dated 19.01.2019. However, the same was not considered by the Consumer Forum and hence, the revision petitioner is before this Court. 2/5

3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 2 and 3 and perused the materials available on record.

4. The Tribunal without numbering the complaint cannot have a roving enquiry. Therefore, the Tribunal is directed to number the complaint and dispose the same in accordance with law, if it is otherwise in order.

5. This Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
