ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to issue pension to the petitioner under the Samvardhan Pension Scheme in the Life Insurance Corporation of India based on Master Policy No.440514. 2.The petitioner is the mother of one Angusamy, who was working as an agent with the respondent Corporation and had taken policy under Samvardhan Scheme for sum of Rs.2,000/- for the financial year 2010-11 under the master policy No.440514. The said amount was deducted from his commission. Subsequently, he died on 31.03.2023. The petitioner, being one of the legal heirs of the said Angusamy, submitted an application claiming pension under that Scheme.

3.Admittedly, the petitioner placed only one receipt for the financial year 2010-11 stating that a sum of Rs.2,000/- was deducted for Samvardhan pension scheme. Except the said document, no other document has been placed to show that the petitioner's son subscribed for the pension fund. That apart, there is a rival claim from other sons of the petitioner. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered and the writ petition itself is devoid of merits.
