ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus to pay 6% interest for the belated disbursement of terminal benefits.

2. The petitioner herein has attained superannuation on 31.01.2023. His retirement benefits were released belatedly. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 12.11.2024 and filed the present writ petition.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent is directed to pay 6% interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits to the petitioner from the due date till the date of disbursement, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
