ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by the aspirants to the post of Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group IV) Services for the year 2022 examination. The petitioners have appeared in the said examination and their individual mark statements with ranks were not published. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus as against Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and to publish final selected candidates details and appoint the petitioners based upon theirs marks secured under the relevant communal category.
2.Pending writ petition, the respondent Commission has furnished the original marks of the writ petitioners along with OMR Sheets.
3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the 2/5
petitioners, when they compared their OMR Sheets with the final answer keys and the marks allotted by the T.N.P.S.C are not correct. Further, it is the allegation of the writ petitioners that unless the final selected candidates list is published, it cannot be verified whether any other candidate, who had scored lesser marks, has been selected. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that there are more than 10,000 selected candidates and it will take three weeks time to upload the list of the selected candidates in their Website.
5.Recording the aforesaid undertaking, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to publish the list of finally selected candidates in their Website on or before 08.01.2024. After publication of the results, it is open to the writ petitioner to agitate their grievances. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
