************ [Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.] By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6
2.This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to sanction police protection by the third respondent and to permit the petitioner to conduct Vadamadu Manjuvirattu Program on 01.12.2024 as a part of Birthday Celebration of Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at Veerapandi Gowmariamman Kovil Thidal, Theni, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2024. 3.This Court will not be justified in stepping into the shoes of the respondents for considering such a prayer of the petitioner. Moreover, the date on which the Manjuvirattu was scheduled to be conducted has also lapsed. However, this Court is of the view that if the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh representation before the respondents, with a consequential direction to the respondents to consider the same, the ends of justice could be secured.
4.Accordingly, the petitioner herein is granted liberty to make a fresh representation before the respondents herein ventilating his grievances. On receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same on its own merits 3/6
and in accordance with law, within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
