ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents for not to harass and compel the petitioner to execute bond without following mandatory procedure under Chapter IX of the BNSS / Chapter VIII of the Criminal Procedure Code.

2. The petitioner has sent a representation on 20.11.2024 complaining that on 01.11.2024 two special team police personnels have come to their house and enquired with the petitioner about one Vivek kumar who has got some case in SS Colony Police Station. The petitioner informed that he don't know about such person . Further on 19.11.2024 the petitioner was called to police station along with his mother and detained there and forced him to execute a bond for good behaviour. Further on 20.11.2024 the petitioner received a phone call from the Sub Inspector of Police attached to Karimedu Police Station calling for enquiry, hence he had sent a representation.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as against the petitioner no case is pending in Karimedu Police Station and 2/4

on the petitioner's complaint he was called for enquiry which he now termed as an harassment,

4. In view of the same the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on 02.12.2024 give his explanation and thereafter appropriate action can be taken.

5. Recording the fact that after receiving explanation from the petitioner the complaint will be closed, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
