ORDER
This Petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.173 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police. 1/4
2. The crux of the case is that the defacto complainant married one Arunkumar and he is having a child aged about three year. Since the husband of the defacto complainant was drunkard, she is living separately in her parent's house and she had developed intimacy with the petitioner and had intimacy physically. While so, the petitioner had taken videograph and threatened the defacto complainant and also demanded Rs.2,00,000/- and if not giving money, the video and photos will be shown to her husband. Hence, the case was registered.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. On perusal of the records, this Court satisfy with the ingredients of the offence and the same is required to be investigated by the police officer. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to file a petition, after filing final report, if so advised.
