2. W.P.(MD)No.26367 of 2023 filed by the petitioner questioning the demand raised by the respondents was quashed by this Court on 03.11.2023. The order copy is yet to be made ready. Since the order copy has not been furnished, the fourth respondent is declining to accept the payment of Rs.1,02,732/- from the petitioner herein. The petitioner wants to pay the current consumption charges.

3. The respondents cannot refuse to receive the same. The fourth respondent is directed to accept the petition-mentioned payment. It is stated that the petitioner has sent the original Demand Draft through RPAD. As and when the fourth respondent receives the same, it shall be accepted and encashed. It shall not be returned. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
