ORDER
This contempt petition has been filed that the order of this Court dated 17.12.2019 passed in WP(MD)No.26205 of 2019 has not been complied with. 2.This Court by order dated 17.12.2019 has disposed of the writ petition in WP(MD)No.26205 of 2019 as follows:
"4.The third respondent has agreed for any date that may be fixed by the first respondent/ Commissioner, HR and CE in the first week of April. Though the Commissioner, HR and CE is not a party in this writ petition, this Court directs the second respondent, who is a party herein to inform the commissioner, HR and CE, to fix the date in the first week of April for preview of the New Chariat in the temple, viz., Arulmigu Sree Swarnamoortheeswarar Thirukoil situated at Kandadevi Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District and make the Chariot ready for the festival.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs."

3.Today when the contempt petition has been taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent submits that the issue is highly sensitive and the writ petition was disposed at the admission stage itself and direction has been issued to the Commissioner, HR and CE Department, who was not a party to the writ petition. However, the officials are inclined to comply with the orders of this Court and they have not filed any appeal. They have subsequently convened a joint meeting on 09.11.2023 at 11.
00am in the office of the District Collector, Sivagangai with the District Collector, Joint Commissioner, HR and CE Department, Hereditary Trustee of Sivagangai Samasthanam, Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Devakottai, Executive Engineer, PWD, Sivagangai, Tahsildar, Devakottai, Block Development Officer, Development, 4 Nattars and representatives of all communities and a decision has been taken to have a trial run of the Car on 21.01.2024 from 6.30 am to 8.00 am. Every one who participated in the meeting has agreed for the trial run as above. The learned Additional Advocate General has also produced a copy of the minutes of the meeting dated 09.11.2023.

4.Recording the above proceedings of the District Collector Sivagangai, this contempt petition stands closed.
