ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUAN, J.) Alleging non compliance of the order this Court made in W.P(MD)No.1234 of 2024 dated 22.01.2024, this contempt petition is filed.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has produced the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 23.07.2025 and submitted that the representation of the petitioners dated 27.11.2023 has been considered and accordingly the order passed by this Court is complied with.

Perusal of the order dated 23.07.2025 of the 1st respondent shows that during enquiry, though the 1st respondent found encroachment, no action was taken for removal of the encroachment. Page No.2 of 4

However, since the order of the Writ Court is only for consideration of the petitioner's representation, there is no wilful disobedience. 4.

In view of the compliance reported, the Contempt Petition is closed. The respondents are directed to proceed further with the finding given in the enquiry report of the 1st respondent dated 23.07.2025 and remove the encroachment within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
