O R D E R

The petition for writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.09.2025. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the dispute is between the son and the mother and that an earlier complaint given by the petitioner was closed as disclosed only a family dispute. He would further submit that the present complaint has been registered in CSR No.461/2025 and the same would be enquired into and the result of the enquiry would be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks. 2/4

3.In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry on the petitioner's complaint and communicate the result of the same to the petitioner within a period of two

(2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the result of the enquiry, it is open to him to approach the concerned learned Magistrate for an appropriate remedy. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
