ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Ramanathapuram to dispose the case 1/4

filed by the respondent in CC No.348/2018 within a time prescribed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the C.C.No.348 of 2018. He gave a complaint before the respondent police, which was registered in Crime No.6 of 2017, for the offence punishable under Sections 408, 420, 468, 477A, 471 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2017, so far no progress is made in the trial process.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the respondent police is ready to co-operate to complete the trial process within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.In view of the submissions on either side, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, to expedite the trial process and dispose of the same within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
