ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her parents by considering the petitioner's representations dated 10.12.2022 and 12.12.2022 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Admittedly, the petitioner is the wife of the third respondent and there existed matrimonial dispute between them and HMOP.No.55 of 2020 is pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Uthamapalayam for divorce.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the 2/4

complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.305 of 2019 against the third respondent for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. He would further submit that the petitioner is now residing in Kerala and she has not turned up before the second respondent for enquiry.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and on such appearance, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.12.2022 and 12.12.2022 and pass orders within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
