ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that one Mallika has filed a civil suit in O.S.No.608 of 2012, for permanent injunction and the same was ordered to be dismissed for default on 31.10.2022. He would further submit that though the petitioner has already given representation seeking police protection, the same is pending before the second respondent. 2/4

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.12.2022 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
