The petitioners herein are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 6 in P.R.C.No.30 of 2013, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thanjavur. They filed this application under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the said P.R.C.No.30 of 2013 as illegal as against these petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned

Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent represented that the said P.R.C.No.30 of 2013 was committed to the Court of Sessions and assigned with case number as S.C.No.284 of 2013. Further, he added that as of now, the said case was disposed of on 11.05.2017 itself, in which the petitioners are acquitted from all the charges.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are dismissed.
