ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioner and her family members.

2. The case in brief that the petitioner married one Kannan in the year 2002 and they were blessed with son namely Mukeshkannan. Her husband executed a settlement deed in favour of his son in respect of dwelling house situated at Chellappanenthal Village. Thereafter, due to some misunderstanding, the petitioner and her husband got separated. Now, the petitioner wants to get back the above property, for which, the petitioner and her son did not agree. Hence, the petitioner's husband with the help of his friends i.e., fourth and fifth respondents threatened the petitioner's son as if they would foist a false complaint against him. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the fourth and fifth respondents seized the bike of the petitioner's son bearing Registration No.TN 63 BT 7158 and till date the same was not handed over before the police station or Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds no reference to show that on what ground bike was seized from the petitioner's son. Hence, this Court suo motu impleads the Inspector General of Police, South Zone, as party to this proceeding and directed the Inspector General of Police, South Zone, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2024 and pass appropriate orders, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report before this Court.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
