ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.67 of 2025 from the file of the 3rd respondent Police to the 4th respondent Police or to any other agency for further process of investigation.

2. It is a case of the petitioner that an un-identified vehicle dashed against the vehicle ridden by the petitioner's husband, as a result of which, the petitioner sustained grievous injuries; that the case was registered in Crime No. 67 of 2025 on 12.03.2025; and that the respondents are yet to ascertain the offending vehicle.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that so far nine witnesses have been examined; that CCTV footages have been reviewed; and that the third respondent is taking effective steps to find out the Driver and the unidentified vehicle. 2/5

4. This Court is of the view that there is no delay in the investigation and the respondents are taking effective steps to identify the accused. In such view of the matter, the prayer sought for transferring the investigation cannot be granted. However, the third respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file the Final Report as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
