O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application for correction of the Field Measurement Book 2/6

(FMB) pertaining to the land comprised in T.S. No. 42, Old Survey Nos. 308/1A1 (Part) and 4B (Part), within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court and further forbearing respondents 1 to 5 from acting upon the FMB that is under challenge before the second respondent until the disposal of the petitioner's application within the time so stipulated.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1, 2, 4 and 5 submitted that all the relevant facts, including the pendency of the civil suit, will be taken into consideration by the fourth respondent and that the petitioner's representation will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law. 4.In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the fourth respondent concerned to consider and dispose of the representation dated 04.09.2025 after conducting an inquiry, which shall include issuing notice to the petitioner, the sixth respondent and to adjoining land owners who may be affected, and considering any objections submitted by them. The fourth respondent 3/6

shall thereafter pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the same shall be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
