ORDER

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.2601 of 2016 dated 09.02.2016, the Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD).No.2601 of 2016 has been filed to complete the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner and this Court vide order dated 09.02.2016 directed the respondents to pass final order on the disciplinary proceedings within a period of four weeks therein.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the disciplinary proceedings are completed and final order is passed on 29.04.2023. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the terminal benefits applicable to the petitioner is not paid.

Recording the said submission, this Court is directing the respondent to disburse the terminal benefits and other benefits applicable to the petitioner within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondent has not paid the said amount within the prescribed period, then liberty is granted to the petitioner to reopen the Contempt Petition.

4. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
