The petitioner had originally prayed for a mandamus to suspend the entries in the revenue records relating to the survey numbers and extents mentioned in the original writ petition. 2/5
2. By this miscellaneous petition, the petitioner seeks to amend the relief claimed so as to quash the entries made in the Town Survey Land Register reflecting the name of the sixth respondent.
3. Inspite of service of notice and the name of the sixth respondent being printed in the cause list, the sixth respondent is not represented in court.
4. Upon examining the affidavit in support of the main writ petition and this affidavit, I am satisfied that the amendment is within the broad scope of the grievance canvassed in the main writ petition. Accordingly, this amendment petition is allowed. The registry is directed to carry out the consequential amendments in the writ petition. 18.09.2025 NCC :No 1/2 Internet :Yes Index :No PKN 3/5
