and 2 to pass orders on the proposal submitted by the fourth respondent vide Na.Ka.No.A1/424/2021-23, dated 17.03.2023 by granting the monetary benefits to the petitioner in the post of Assistant professor in Economics with effect from 17.04.2009 in accordance with the resolution passed by the Governing Council of the fourth respondent College, dated 17.04.2009 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
The present writ petition has been filed by an Assistant professor (Economics) working in the fourth respondent College seeking a mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to pass orders on the proposal sent by the fourth respondent herein on 17.03.2023.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the writ petitioner was working as a Lecturer from 06.02.2017 onwards. However, the monetary benefits have not been disbursed. The fourth respondent College has forwarded a proposal to the second respondent on 2/5
17.03.2023. The files are now pending with the third respondent for being forwarded to the second respondent for passing final order.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to forward the same to the second respondent, if the papers are in order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, in case, if any positive forwarding order is received from the third respondent, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed to the extent as stated above. There shall be no order as to costs. 21.11.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No ebsi 3/5
