The petition for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and provide police protection for the conduct of the Aadal Padal program on 01.10.2025 and Sri Valli Thirumana Nadagam on 02.10.2025, pursuant to the "Purattasi Pongal Thiruvizha" of "Arulmigu Manthaiamman Thirukovil", situated at North Street, Silayaneri, Anaiyur, Madurai District, by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2025.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits on the basis of the Circular issued by the Director General of Police in Rc.007301/ Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019 and the order passed thereon would be communicated to the petitioner.

Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass a suitable order in accordance with law on or before 30.09.2025 and communicate the same to the petitioner.
