Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the 1st respondent Police not to harass or ill treat the petitioner Nos.1 to 4 or their family members in connection with the alleged complaint given by one K.Senthil, S/o. Kanagasundaram.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent Police not to harass the petitioners or their family members in connection with the alleged complaint given by one K.Senthil, S/o. Kanagasundaram.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint given by the said K.Senthil, an enquiry is pending only to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out in said complaint and the same would be completed within two weeks.

3. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent No.1 to complete the enquiry, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
