This petition has been filed seeking to quash the case in Crime No. 151 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent herein. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No. 151 of 2018, which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC on 13.05.2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that it is a false complaint and hence, he seeks to quash the same. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that investigation in this case has been completed and petitioner was acquitted from the charges by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tuticorin on 25.07.2023. 4.Since the petitioner was already acquitted, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this petition has become infructuous. 5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
