ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the petition in R.L.T.O.P.No.11 of 2019, pending on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Tirunelveli, within a period stipulated by this Court.

2. Since the revision petition is filed for early disposal of the case, the issuance of notice to the respondent is not necessary.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner would submit that the revision petitioner has filed the eviction petition in R.L.T.O.P.No.11 of 2019 in the year 2019 and that trial was commenced as earlier as on 03.08.2021 and the case is being adjourned again and again. He would further submit that the respondent's side witness R.W.1 was examined on 28.11.2023 and the case stands posted for cross-examination of R.W.1 on 11.12.2023.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner would further submit that the revision petitioner is aged 84 years.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances and also the fact that the eviction petition is pending for more than four years and taking note of the age of the revision petitioner, the learned Principal District Munsif, Tirunelveli, is hereby directed to complete the trial in R.L.T.O.P.No.11 of 2019 and dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
