ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned memorandum in Mu.Mu.No. 6797/2023/P3, dated 23.10.2024, passed by the second respondent and for consequential direction to the second respondent to modify the entries in respect of the patta in S.No.68/12, to an extent of 1930 1⁄2 sq. feet/. S.No.17/4, of an extent of 8 3⁄4 cents, and S.No.67/11, of an extent of 7 1⁄2 cent situate at Anaiyur Bit-II Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District in the name of the petitioner.
2. With consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. Indisputably, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 16.11.2024, as against the order of the second respondent and the same is pending till date. As the first respondent did not prosecute the appeal of the petitioner, the petitioner approached this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal within a time fixed by this Court.
5. As the petitioner has filed appeal on 16.11.2024 and the appeal has been pending before the first respondent, this Court is inclined to issue a direction. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal as per the time line given in the Circular dated 17.07.2024 of the Commissioner, Land Administration, Chennai.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
