ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on his representation dated 02.09.2025.

The gist of the representation of the petitioner is that the petitioner had filed a suit for permanent injunction in O.S.No.238 of 2016 before the learned Principal District Munsif, Sankarankovil; that the same was allowed on 04.04.2017; and that while so, on 31.08.2025, the respondents 4 and 5 had disturbed the petitioner's possession.

3. If the respondents 4 and 5 have not complied with the judgment of the Civil Court, the remedy available to the petitioner is to approach the Execution Court. The respondent Police cannot decide such disputes. Consequently, there cannot be any direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection as prayed for.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
