Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in guise of enquiry, based on the petitioner's representation on 04.09.2025. ORDER

The petitioner seeks direction to the second respondent not to harass him and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the respondent Police is not harassing the petitioner; that an enquiry is pending on the complaint given by the respondents 4 and 5 against the petitioner; and that the enquiry would be completed within a period of one week.

3. Recording the above submission, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the enquiry and communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
