ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by an Assistant working in Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation challenging the order of transfer from Madurai Region to Ranipet Region.
2. The primary contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that enquiry proceedings are pending against him and without affording any opportunity to participate in the enquiry proceedings, he has been transferred to a region which is far away from Madurai Region.
3. Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents points out that enquiry as against the petitioner was completed in June 2023 and the enquiry report has also been submitted. The petitioner is said to have filed an appeal before the appellate authority and the same is pending before the Regional Manager, who is the appellate authority.

4. A perusal of the impugned order indicates that it is not a punitive transfer and there is no reference about any imputations as against the writ petitioner. Considering the fact that the petitioner is working in the Madurai region from the year 2009 onwards and he has been transferred after the completion of the enquiry, this Court does not find any merits in the writ petition.
5. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 22.11.2023 NCC :
