The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings of the sixth respondent in Na.Ka.No.NIL/ C.1/Thiruchi/2022 dated 20.12.2022 and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Dharma Raksha Awareness Yathra from 01.01.2023 to 17.01.2023 with a vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-48-BD-3481 as scheduled in the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2022.
2. The learned Senior counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner's representation was rejected by the sixth respondent vide order dated 20.12.2022. He would further submit that the writ petitioner is ready to furnish the particulars and to comply with the requirements shown in the rejection order and that they will give a fresh representation and the same may be directed to be considered by the sixth respondent.
3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 3 to 6 would submit that taking a vehicle 3/6
with idol in the streets would create a law and order problem and they may be permitted to give a fresh representation to conduct the programme in a closed campus like Kalyana Mandabam and if such a representation is given, the same would be considered by the respective Superintendent of Police.
4. At this juncture, the learned Senior counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner is ready to give a fresh representation indicating the dates and kalyana mandabam particulars and that the respondents may be directed to consider the same.
5. Recording the submissions made on either sides, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
