ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for 'Lower Court' and upon perusing earlier order dated 27.11.2023 and the requisition submitted by the Session Judge (FAC), Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under SC/ST(POA) Act 1989, Sivagangai in D.No.801/2025 dated 04.07.2025 seeking to grant a further period of three months to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.
64 of 2018 this Court made the following Order: 'This petition has been listed today under the caption ''for extension of time'' to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.64/2018 pending on the file of the learned Sessions Judge(FAC), Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989, Sivagangai.
2. The learned Sessions Judge(FAC), Special Court for Exclusive Trial of
Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989, Sivagangai has sent a letter in D.No.801/2025 dated 04.07.2025, requesting extension of further time to dispose of Spl.S.C.No.64 of 2018, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 27.11.2023.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned Sessions Judge(FAC), Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989, Sivagangai., this Court is inclined to grant further time to dispose of the above case. Accordingly, three months time is extended for disposing the case in Spl.S.C.No.64 of 2018 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.'
