ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 18.11.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner he received threat from the third respondent, thereby he lodged complaint. Thereafter the First Information Report has been registered in Crime No.133 of2024 and thereafter the third respondent was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. After coming out from bail , once again the petitioner was threatened by the accused, thereby he sent a representation dated 18.11.2024 to the second respondent but the same has not been considered, hence the present petition has been filed.

3. Already this Court has issued notice to the third respondent and summons was returned as un-served. However the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that they have registered First Information Report against the third 2/5

respondent based on the complaint given by the petitioner. Again he has sent a representation dated 18.11.2024 and they will consider the representation and dispose of the same within a short period.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.11.2024 and dispose of the same in accordance with law on merits within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
