PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.1471/2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.12.2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 392 r/w.397 of IPC in Crime No.1471 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner at knife point threatened the defacto complainant and taken away Rs.540/- from the shirt pocket of the defacto complainant. Hence the present case came to be registered.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 13.12.2022, hence he seeks bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is having three previous https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.23316 of 2022 cases and if he is released on bail he will indulge in similar types of offences again, hence he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner 5.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7.Hence the petition stands dismissed.
