Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to take necessary action, by conducting an enquiry on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2023 in accordance with Sec. 26 of Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act 22/1959.

ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a mandamus to consider his representation dated 10.04.2023 and to conduct an enquiry into the maladministration and misappropriation of the temple properties by the Hereditary Trustees.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the second respondent had forwarded a report dated 13.06.2023 to the first respondent and the same is pending consideration with the first respondent.

3. In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the report of the second respondent dated 13.06.2023 in Na.Ka.No.2146/2021/A4, dated 13.06.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
