O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking installment for payment of CC bill raised by the TANGEDCO.

2. According to the petitioner, the Mill was closed due to the orders passed by the Pollution Control Board and hence, they were not in a position to pay the CC bill.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the TANGEDCO submits that no consumer is entitled to have a right to pay the CC bills in installment.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court passes the following orders:

(i) The respondent is directed to restore the electricity connection on payment of a sum of Rs.13,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs only); and 2/4

(ii) The petitioner shall pay the balance amount of CC bill on or before 09.01.2023. If the said amount is not paid, the respondent is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.

This order shall not be taken as a precedent for any other cases.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
