ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd Respondent to give adequate Police Protection for life and limb of the Petitioner and her family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 21.08.2025.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is the owner and is in possession of the disputed property; that the respondent Nos.3 to 5 are obstructing her peaceful possession; and that they threatened her of dire consequences.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the allegation only discloses the civil dispute between the petitioner and her brother and a civil suit is pending regarding the said dispute.

4. This Court is of the view that the respondent Nos.1 and 2 cannot interfere into the dispute with regard to property between siblings. Hence, there 2/4

cannot be issued any direction as sought for by the petitioner. However, if any cognizable offence is made out on the petitioner's complaint, it is needless to state that the respondent Nos.1 and 2 shall take appropriate action.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
