RESPONDENTS Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records of the 2nd Respondent in Resolution No.43 of 2022-2023 dated 21.09.2022 and quash the same as illegal and consequentially 1/3

directing the 2nd Respondent to cancel the allotment made to the 4th Respondent and allot the Petitioner the salt pan lands by the matching the rate tendered to the 4th Respondent. Prayer in WMP(MD). 23218/ 2022 :

To STAY the operation and effect of the Resolution No.43 of 2022-2023 dated 21.09.2022 passed by the 2nd Respondent, pending disposal of the above Writ Petition and thus render justice. Prayer in WMP(MD). 23219/ 2022 :

To pass an order of INTERIM INJUNCTION restraining the Respondents 2 and 3 from disturbing the Petitioners peaceful possession and enjoyment of Port Salt Pan Land measuring 262.8 acres of land in Tuticorin for the continued production of the salt, pending disposal of the above Writ Petition.

ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.VALLINAYAGAM, Senior Counsel for M/S.SARAVANAKUMAR.P, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.S.JEYASINGH, Senior Panel Counsel for the Respondent No.1, and M/S.R.SANKARANARAYANAN, Assistant Solicitor General of India for Mr.N.DILIP KUMAR, Standing Counsel on behalf of the Respondents No.2 & 3 and M/S.V.RAGHAVACHARI, Senior Counsel for M/S.V.ARUL, Advocate for Respondent No.4, the court made the following order:- The learned counsel on either side inform the court that there will not be any further activity carried on in the petition mentioned salt-pan lands.
