After purchasing a plot in a layout of the aggregate extent of 2816 1⁄2 sq.ft., the petitioner applied for a separate patta on 27.05.2025. On the ground that such application was not acted upon within a reasonable time, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's application would be considered and disposed of on merits within twelve
(12) weeks.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application on merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
