Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to disburse the tender amount for the work completed in pursuance to the work allotment order issued by the 2nd respondent vide Na.Ka.No. 1369.2021;e1, Na.Ka.No.1371/2021/e1, Na.Ka.No.1371/2021/e1 and Na.Ka.No.1372/2021/e1 on the basis of the representations dated 20.07.2023 and 24.07.2023 within a time stipulated in accordance with law.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the following relief : "directing the 2nd respondent to disburse the tender amount for the work completed in pursuance to the work allotment order issued by the 2nd respondent vide Na.Ka.No. 1369.2021;e1, Na.Ka.No.1371/2021/e1, Na.Ka.No.1371/2021/e1 and Na.Ka.No. 1372/2021/e1 on the basis of the representations dated 20.07.2023 and 24.07.2023."
2. The case of the petitioner is that during 2021-22, the 2nd respondent has called for tender for four building works within Thiruthangal Municipality Corporation and the petitioner was the successful bidder. By proceedings dated 14.07.2021, tender work order was issued to the petitioner and the petitioner also completed the same. Thereafter, the petitioner had made demand to the 2nd respondent to disburse the amount and also made a representations on 20.07.2021 and
27.07.2023 in this regard. Since the same were not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsels on either side.
4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.07.2023 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petitions stands disposed of. No costs.
