PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1 to 4th respondents herein to remove the name of the 5th respondent from Patta No.3972, S.F.No.42/1C2 in order to implement the order of the 4th respondent and consequently directing the 3rd respondent to grant a corrected patta in petitioner's father's name for the extent of 0.73.50 hectares of land based on his representation dated 23.07.2025. 1/4

ORDER

By relying on an order dated 14.03.2025 of the Revenue Divisional Officer directing mutation of the patta by deleting the name of the 5th respondent herein as regards S.No.42/1C2, the present writ petition has been filed for implementation of the said order.

2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of after verifying as to whether the 5th respondent has filed a revision before the District Revenue Officer against the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer. He also submits that the petitioner and the private respondents herein would be provided a reasonable opportunity before the matter is disposed of on merits.

3.In view of the above submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader, it is not necessary to issue notice to the private respondents in this writ petition.

4.Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's request for implementation of the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer and take necessary action thereon after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents herein. This exercise shall be completed within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
