ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed, invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders to direct the Family Court, Tiruchirappalli to dispose of the G.W.O.P.No.143 of 2022 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. Since the revision petition is filed for early disposal of the case, the issuance of notice to the respondent is not necessary.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working at Australia and at present, he is residing at Tiruchirappalli only for the purpose of conducting the GWOP, that the respondent is also working at Mumbai; that the respondent has already filed the counter statement and the case is pending for enquiry, that the case is adjourned again and again and that therefore, the trial has to be expedited.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is working at Australia and the respondent is working at Mumbai and taking note of the relief claimed, the learned Judge, Family Court, Tiruchirappali, is directed to proceed with the trial and dispose of the G.W.O.P.No.143 of 2022, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above observation and direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
