The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners who had appeared for the post of Special Teacher (Drawing) in pursuance to the notification issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board on 26.07.2017.

2. The petitioners have successfully cleared the written examination and they have also appeared for the certificate verification. Admittedly, all the 3 candidates are claiming appointment under the Non-PSTM category. Though the certificate verifications were completed in the year 2018 and results were published in October 2021, 2/5

so far appointment orders have not been issued. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking appointment to the petitioners.

3. On written instructions, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Teachers Recruitment Board submits that the certificate verification relating to PSTM candidates is under progress and the same is likely to be completed within a period of 3 months. Only after certificate verification of the PSTM candidates, the appointment order to the Non-PSTM candidates can also be issued.

4. Considering the above said facts, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent herein to forward the selection list to the 4th respondent on or before 31.01.2024. Thereafter, the 4th respondent shall issue appointment orders to the petitioners on or before 28.02.2024.
