O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Village Assistant seeking a mandamus to settle his terminal benefits.

2. The third respondent herein has issued a Charge Memo to the writ petitioner on 20.08.2020. The petitioner had challenged the said Charge Memo in W.P(MD) No.20245 of 2023 before this Court. Since no interim orders were granted, enquiry was proceeded with and an enquiry report has been submitted on 21.12.2022 to the third respondent herein. As on today, the enquiry report is pending before the third respondent for passing final orders.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent being a 2/4

disciplinary authority and having received the enquiry report, on 21.12.2022, is hereby directed to pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the final orders, the petitioner would be entitled to the terminal benefits.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
