ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to withdraw the case in Crime No.280 of 2024, pending on the file of the second respondent and entrust the same to the third respondent for investigation of the case by a competent Officer and file a final report before the Judicial Magistrate, within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.280 of 2024 is in progress and the final report will be filed within three months. 2/5

4. Recording the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.280 of 2024, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karur District, is directed to monitor the progress of the investigation.
