This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to initiate appropriate action under the relevant provisions of law on the basis of the complaint, dated 12.10.2023 lodged before the 1st respondent herein within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a complaint stating that one Varsha and Kalaiselvi, who are relatives of the petitioner approached the petitioner and asked him to deposit his gold jewels, weighing about 231 grams, promising to give profit. Later, he failed to give profit and when the same was asked by the petitioner, they threatened the petitioner and scolded him in filthy language. So, a complaint was made before the second respondent, but so far no action has been taken.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner before the first respondent is not forwarded to the second respondent herein.

4. Let a fresh complaint be given by the petitioner to second respondent within a week from the date of receipt of copy of this order, so that they can consider the same.
5. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
